Casio PAW2000-1CR Reviews

rated 2 out of 5 Hurt to wear
by Gary Hirshfield from New York, NY, 2010-02-26

I am 6'1" and about 190 lbs. So I don't know if my wrist was too big or too small but I literally couldn't wear this watch because it hurt my wrist. I really wanted to keep it because it is way cool

rated 5 out of 5 Great Watch
by C. Yi from Honolulu, HI USA, 2010-02-23

I bought this watch just before my snowboarding trip this year. I didn't want to chance bringing up my Tag watch but wanted something reliable and with low maintenance. This watch is great!! I was afraid it was gonna be huge but its the perfect size. Very easy to setup, didn't really have to read through the manual, its pretty straightforward. The sensor were pretty accurate out of the box. When on the mountain it measured the altitude perfectly. The only thing that urks me little was the fact that I needed to take off the watch for awhile to get a accurate temp reading. There are so many other features that I don't even come close to using them all. The world time definitely came in handy when I was traveling into different timezones. Also the world sync ensures that the time on the watch is accurate. I was a little worried I'd scratch the face up when i took it up on the mountain for no scratches so far. The best thing about this watch is that it is solar powered, no batteries to worry about.

rated 4 out of 5 Casio Pathfinder 2000-1CR "A pathfinder for both outdoor and office use"
by JRS from CA, USA, 2010-02-22

I am really impressed with slick design of this pathfinder. I liked the PAW1500 series very much. But I settled with PAW2000 because of its slick design.

Cons:
The display is not as crisp as the PAW1500.
The wave and moon reading tech in missing.

Pros:
excellent design (slim and elegant)
bigger and cluster free display
multi-function pointer overlay display is very useful.
Compared PAW1500 and 2000 side by side; PAW2000 was faster than the 1500 in determining the direction and altimeter readings.

Overall this is an excellent watch.

rated 4 out of 5 Cool Watch
by P. Flinn from Dallas, Texas, 2010-02-14

I like how thin this watch is compared to my last Casio.
It has all the funtions on it that I wanted.
They only thing is parts of the dispay are very small and I am getting old so it is difficuit to see at times.

rated 5 out of 5 Awesome Digital Watch
by K. Freeman from Dallas, TX, 2010-02-09

Sweet watch, my first Pathfinder. The manual on this thing is an inch thick. It's got all the necessary functions. If you are looking for that "end of the world" watch that does it all, look no further. It looks like it would take a bullet!
