Fulfilled my expectations

I bought this watch about 3 months ago and I have been testing if every single day since. The testings had taken place both in North America and Europe. I am not a pilot or a climber or any of this type of professionals, I am just an amateur who bought it for occasional use.
The watch does exactly what it says and how it says. The time works perfect, stopwatch awesome, calendar wonderful, solar battery holds very well (both in the light and in the dark), connection to the "atomic center" is easy and fast, hand-wrist great (I had to remove a couple of links - no problem), water resistance is functioning great.
The temperature is a little off (+/-2 Celsius as it specifies in the manual). It takes the thermometer quite a long time to stabilize and reach the right temperature (when switching abruptly from inside to outside environment). The barometer needed calibration and works well for amateurs (not for professionals - as it is already mentioned in the manual). Compas is working accurately. Daylight savings work well as well as you stay in North America. Once you get to Europe the automatic (and I say automatic only) daylight savings works for Europe only. It looses the automation function for North America. The manual (and I say manual) set up is working great for both continents. The hand-wrist scratches pretty easily, but if you are careful it should be no concern.
Overall it is a great product and I am happy I got it. As a non-pro I give it 5 stars.
Pathfinder Watch

An excellent watch and lots of fun. Accuracy is phenominal. I can't tell any difference from WWV at all. Must be to better than 1/10th second. My only complaint is the alarms. I can't hear them unless they are within 3 inches of my ear. So they are worthless. I put the Timex I replaced it with in a drawer and I can still hear it's alarms from 15 feet away. I wish there was a way to increase the volume of the Casio.
The metal band is excellent and well worth the cost.

It was on my wish list for a few months and my wife got the hint for my birthday. It does everything in the product description. If you are an outdoorsman or a weekend hiker I would recommend this.

I have never been a watch guy, so my wife wondered if I would spend $200+ on a watch I would lose three weeks later like so many other cheap ones I have tried in the past. I won't go in to all the technical details as others have done, but bottom line, this is the watch I should have bought long ago. I love wearing it. Believe the other positive reviews. It's that good.
outstanding pathfinder

Another quality product from Casio. A beautifully styled watch and titanium band. Works as described in the instruction manual. Easily picks up the timing signal inside my house here in St. Louis. No more battery replacement as I had to do with my old pathfinder about every year. It was at the M charge point when delivered and charged to the H mark after sitting in a sunny window for a couple hours. Hasn't dropped back since(3 weeks) and has not been back in the window. Had to remove some links for fit and they are easily removed with a fine tipped tool to push the pins through in the direction indicated on the back of the links.
