Great buy

Great little watch. It feels great, looks very nice, seems to be made very well, gets
me compliments, and did not break the bank.
A little tricky to set it but since it a "Waveceptor" I know I can now forget it!
Good night time watch

I spent hours reading the details of watches on Amazon before settling on this one. Here's what I like
*First, although not the smallest man's watch I've owned it isn't huge. If you like having a Soviet Submarine Clock on your wrist, you won't like this one. I don't have big wrists so size was an issue for me.
*Second, the face is crystal not acrylic so hasn't got a single scratch yet.
*The band is more comfortable than the steel ones; they always pull my wrist hairs.
*The luminous hands are very visible in the middle of the night, even without my glasses on.
*You wouldn't know it was solar based on looks; the face is a handsome uniform charcoal gray.
*Unlike some reviewers, I had little trouble setting the time to California. It was fun watching the hands race backwards 3 hours by themselves.
*So far it seems to be keeping perfect time.
There are only 2 negatives, that detract slightly;
*first, the band it too long.
*Second, the instruction book is really pretty poorly written. Good think I don't care about the rest of the functions.
The bottom line is the watch works well, look sophisticated and is very usable even at night.
Great Knockaround Watch

Took me a while to set up because the watch was last updated during dayliight savings time (and then boxed and closed) and I opened it during standard time -- couldn't figure out why I couldn't set the correct time with the watch on "auto" for daylight savings/standard time setting.
But now that the watch set itself the next "radio broadcast" the watch has been working like a charm. Very easy to work. Love the analogue face with digital components such as date and alarm features.

I love this watch. The instructions are a little daunting, but once you get through them it is areal joy. Quite reasonably priced also.
Complicated setup

I needed a magnifying glass to try and read the instructions - which I think were poorly written. All the features aren't still working for me. I have put it away until I get more time to try and understand all the procedures. Too complicated for a 70 year old man! I wouldn't recommend this watch - although I thought the appearance of it was good.
