Product Description

Heavy duty twist movement to remove stubborn links. Most link removers use a small handle, but this larger model makes it easier to remove links. Twist design makes it easy to remove or add links to your watch band. Every watch collector needs a watch adjuster as part of their collection. Stop wasting money taking it to a jeweler when you can do it yourself. It pays for itself after 2 uses. Easily alter your watch at home without scratching the band.

I used it on a citizen ecodrive and have removed several pins. Not heavy duty, but worked great.

As long as you are careful and take your time and align it properly...this can be done quickly. Works great for me. Only broke one pin on my first try because I did not have it aligned correctly.

rated 1 out of 5 Nowhere near "Heavy Duty". Not Recommended

I have removed hundreds of watch pins using a fairly flimsy pin pusher that came with a kit. I saw this 'Heavy Duty' one and thought I'd upgrade to a better tool. However, I have to say that this tool is the worst one of this type I've seen. It is lighter duty than the one I already had....not Heavy Duty at all....and the driver breaks way too easily....in fact the first pin I tried to remove resulted in a broken driver. It was brittle, and I could hear the metal cracking under very little pressure. I went back to the old tool and removed the same watch pin easily, as well as many since. With the old tool, I have yet to break a single pin pusher.

I'm still looking to upgrade to a better tool, but this isn't it. Also, the one I got is blue, not orange as advertised. Because of getting the wrong color, as well as a flimsy, light duty tool, it makes me wonder if I was shipped the wrong item. I've sent an email to DBRoth, but as of yet, no reply.

UPDATE 11-18-09: DBRoth issued a full refund, shipping charges included. I am not required to return the broken tool.

The product worked as advertised. I was able to remove links and replace the pins in less than fifteen minutes. You just have to be careful to line the pins up.
On a bad note. After purchasing this product, my credit card was compromised and I received charges from Panama that I am now disputing. The hassle is not worth the price of the product. I sould have paid three time the purchase price locally and avoided credit card theft.

rated 5 out of 5 Geat idea

I have a very large watch collection and got tired of use pins/needles etc and long nose pliers to remove links. I knew there had to be a better way. I stumbled across this item and thought the idea sounded like what I was looking for, but was not sure of the quality. I LOVE THIS!Just be careful to line everything up or you will break pin. Between myself and my freinds I have probably removed 25 links and have only bent /broke two pins. One was my fault as I was trying to drive pin wrong way. My thumbs and fingers thank me. No more holes. If you use this once you paid for it by not having to pay a jewler.
