Never Had So Many Compliments Over A Watch!!!

So I purchased this watch prior to heading out on a cruise. I'm a bit of a watch fanatic, and I was hesitant when I saw this stunner available at such a reasonable price. The watch itself arrived in a deluxe Invicta yellow leather case with tags still attached that read $595. The watch is huge and heavy, and for a big guy like myself, perfect! I normally wear my watches on my left hand, but I found that the crown cover was really digging into my hand. I opted to wear the watch on my right hand and haven't looked back since! I cannot express what an eye-catcher this watch is. Whether at one of the bars on the cruise ship, the pool, the beach, or snorkeling the Carribean off of St. James, everyone noticed this watch. The captain of a sailboat tour we took even offered to trade me his watch for mine :) 100% satisfied!
Perfect watch for the BIG guy :)

First I would like to start off saying that I bought this exact same watch from Woot for $65. Now on to the review. I'm a big guy and I needed a big manly watch. This one is perfect. It's heavy but not TOO heavy as to be uncomfortable. The strap looks a little utilitarian, especially with the weights attached. Looks very sporty but sometimes I need to go casual. So, I keep a black leather band and just swap it out for those occasions. I always get compliments when wearing it. People say it looks more like a small clock than a watch, and that's just the reaction I was hoping to get.
PROS:
+ Price
+ HUGE size
+ Stainless steel is nice and shiny
+ Well constructed
+ Glows brightly in low light situations
Cons:
- Too sporty to wear to the office. Swap out the band and that problem is gone.
- No second hand. Wasn't too much of an issue but might be for someone who likes to see things tick.
- Might be heavy for people with toothpick wrists.
A REAL WRIST BISCUIT

Invicta is a brand I examined last year after watch collecting for some 5 years. Since then I have acquired four in my collection. The fit and finish of this watch is exceptional. The dial is crisp and presents a clear/immediate view of the time (this is especially important for those of us going into geezerhood). And lest I forget it keeps accurate time. The heavy weight, canteen chain, and huge stem head might be a factor for some.
My co-worker can tell the time on my wrist across from my desk to his some 20 feet away (this might stop people from asking you "What's the time..." as they can't miss it if the face is exposed to them at short distances). I am a diver and have taken my black Invicta Russian Diver down as much as 75 feet with no ill-effect. I use Luminox mostly for diving but won't hesitate to strap on the Invicta if the Luminox isn't handy. I will probably use this chrome Russian diver as a surface watch or for fresh water diving because I prefer black watches in salt water. I'm old school. I dive in waters frequented by barricuda and sharks of all varieties. In salt water I don't like to attract to much attention. But on the surface, out at the mall, you sure will get noticed when wearing this watch.
