Product Description
Designed for globetrotters with the need to keep track of two time zones, this National Geographic World Traveler Sierra I stainless steel men's watch offers a uniquely realized dual time design. It arches across the bottom of the dial and stands out from the royal blue wave-patterned background with a bright yellow coloring. The dial also includes luminous hands (with seconds hand), large luminous Arabic numerals at 10, 12, and 2 o'clock, small Arabic numerals and minute indexes around the exterior ring of the dial, and a date window at 3 o'clock. The round silver-tone watch case measures 46mm wide (1.81 inches), includes a flattened bezel, and is completed by a stainless steel bracelet accented with a black rubber covering on the top. Other features include a Japanese-made quartz movement, scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving.

National Geographic NG740GUMK Reviews

rated 2 out of 5 Malfunction? Probably a design flaw.
by R. Naheedy from Plainfield, IL United States, 2009-03-02

I liked this watch when I saw it and liked it even more when I received it, but the first time I went to a water park water must have gotten in the case because after three weeks I still have water vapor on the glass and it has destroyed (bubbled) the numbers on the face. The watch says it's water resistant up to 5 ATM. I'm going to see if I can get a replacement from the manufacturer, although I'm not hopeful.

rated 4 out of 5 Gorgeous watch!
by Gertrude, the Bad Queen from If it's still summer, Lake Michigan, 2008-10-05

This watch is beautiful.

My husband has large wrists and I was concerned about the fit of this watch but it is fine. He doesn't normally wear a watch and I was worried about how heavy this is but he seems to like it.

It has a very elegant look to it.
