Doesn't work on my watch

The tool is nicely built, but I'm afraid I was unable to open the back on the watch I bought it for. The bamboo box is really cleverly built and I'm going to keep the tool just in case I can use it on another watch.

Good for the price, but very loose. Does not hold a setting, but usable, if one is careful.

Very cheap product - you get what you paid for. The bits are fairly loose and it takes a bit of time to unscrew the case. Scratched the back of my watch while I was putting the case back on. Still works though; just don't use it on your best watches.

This wrench did the trick for me. It enabled me to finally replace the battery in a diver watch which stopped in the 1990's. Hurray! I can use it again. I'd rate this wrench as at least Chinese quality (Chinese tools are notorious for being inferior to U. S. made tools.) If I were to make a suggestion to the factory which made this, I'd tell them that they ought to better heat treat (harden) the tool bits. A corner rounded on one of the bits when it slipped once. I could harden these bits myself with some Hard-N-Tuff, which I've got on hand, but I doubt that I'd bother with it. Heat treating involves, for one thing, bringing the parts to an elevated temperature for a sustained period of time (to a red heat, in the case of Hard-N-Tuff). I'm good with metals, by the way, so I know what I'm talking about.

This is a great tool for the do-it-yourselfer. It helps save money and works great.
