Nice winder for a great price will keep my automatic ticking while I enjoy my other quartz watches

rated 4 out of 5 Wonderful Watch Winder
by Tj Devlin from West BATH, ME United States, 2010-02-14

This product performs exactly as advertised. It is quiet. I have it on my dresser, and as a light sleeper, I was concerned that it would disturb me at night. No worry. It is virtually soundless.

rated 2 out of 5 Consider it disposable
by D. Nylander from Florida, 2010-02-01

Before I purchased this item one month ago I read the reviews and decided to try my luck. Some had great things to say and others thought the item was garbage. After owning and using the item for the past month I would caution buyers who are looking for something quiet. For the first couple of weeks it ran perfectly, didnt make a sound. Now I can hear the gears grinding when it's operating. It does work as advertised though, runs for one hour and rests for three hours. I have noticed that if I run it in the counterclockwise motion that my watch seems to lose time but it works fine if I run it clockwise. As with any other product that one may purchase there is always the chance that you will get a "lemon". I will use this item until it dies and then I will look for something with better quality.

rated 1 out of 5 Watch Rotator Review
by R. H. Hachadoorian from Great Neck, NY United States, 2010-02-01

Unfortunately this watch rotator is not designed for watches with attached bracelets and I was unable to use it to keep my Rolex wound up so it was totally useless for me, and I returned it. I wish that this had been pointed out in the write up on this product so I did not have to waste both my time and Amazon's time and their cost for shipping on this. I write this review in the hopes that it will be posted and warn those who may be considering the product and it cannot be used with watches with attached continuous bracelets that are an integral part of the watch

rated 4 out of 5 Some flaws, but quiet, inexpensive, good-looking and effective.
by D. Coben from East Brunswick, NJ USA, 2010-01-13

This unit actually looks handsome, is VERY quiet and functions well enough once you figure it out, BUT first time users be warned because there are NO INSTRUCTIONS included whatsoever, so you have to figure out via intuition what plastic parts are removable to position a watch inside it for winding. It would not be difficult for someone to break this unit if they weren't VERY CAREFUL about figuring out the procedure. Another problem is the power cord doesn't work unless you unplug it from the unit and plug it back in. I have to do this EVERY TIME I use it!! Bottom Line: It's the cheapest on the market, it's quiet, it looks okay and it gets the job done, so it's a good value for the occasional wearer of an auto-winding watch, but it's nothing I'd give as a gift!
